Grievances
Effective EFFECTIVE DATE
If something on WOW has harmed you, if you want to challenge a decision we made, or if you have a question about your personal data, our Grievance Officer handles it. This page follows the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

The Grievance Officer is based in India.
How to complain
Email grievance@itswow.dating, or tap Report on the profile or chat in the app. Please include:
- your name and the email or Apple ID linked to your WOW account (if you have one);
- the name shown on the profile you are complaining about, and screenshots if you have them;
- what happened and when;
- what you would like us to do.
You can complain on someone else's behalf, for example for a friend whose photos are being misused.
How fast we respond

For intimate image complaints you do not have to prove who you are in the photo. Tell us it is you, or that you are acting for the person, and we act first.
If you are not satisfied
- Content or account decisions: you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days of our decision, at gac.gov.in.
- Personal data: after using our grievance process, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
- Crimes: report to the police or at cybercrime.gov.in, or call 1930 for online fraud. In an emergency, call 112.
- Consumer complaints about WOW+: the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or consumerhelpline.gov.in) or a Consumer Commission.

Authorised agencies can send lawful requests to grievance@itswow.dating. We provide information only when Indian law requires it, and only what the order covers.
